After installing Word2TeX there's no "TeX" option in
, why?
Word2TeX program folder contains files word2tex.cnv, word2tex.wll.
Then copy word2tex.cnv to Text Converters folder
(usually Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\TEXTCONV) and
word2tex.wll to Start Up folder (usually \STARTUP).
After doing this you'll have to open any text file (non-native Word doc) in Word and
"TeX" option will appear in
dialog box.

Some figures in document can't be converted by Word2TeX. Why?
Word2TeX can't convert Word drawings (Shapes), so you should convert them
to figures first.
In your Word document click on that Shape so that all the Shape will be selected;
copy it to clipboard (Ctrl-Ins or );
open WordPad application that is supplied with Windows ();
paste picture from clipboard ( or Shift-Ins);
select it and copy to clipboard from WordPad;
return back to Word and paste it.
I use Word2TeX on Windows NT 4.0. Figures didn't converted at all when I do figure conversion
via PostScript printer... Why?
In Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft supply PSCRIPT.DLL PostScript printer driver,
which does not write EPS files. Starting with version 3.0, Word2TeX translates PS to EPS
automatically in most cases.

writing equations Word2TeX will be improved to support future versions of MathType when
they will be released.
